With the development of the Industrial Internet of Things, all kinds of PLC, actuators and collectors need to be monitored with Internet. In general, there are two ways to connect, one by renting a server with a public network IP and sending it to the computer of the public network IP. The other is to use the dynamic domain name + port mapping when there is no public network IP. Both are less convenient than using P2P technology. P2P is the abbreviation of Peer to Peer, it can realize the user PC directly connecting with industrial equipment, and: (1) there no need public IP and port mapping in either the user's computer or industrial equipment. (2) the actual transmission data need not be transmitted through the intermediate server, high speed. (3) you can use the old upper computer (such as PLC software) without the need to develop new equipment and new software.
